Is there downtime after a Chemical Peel?
You can expect to see about a week of flaking skin but shouldn’t impact your daily routine. It does depend on how potent the Chemical Peel is, as some individuals may experience physician skin peeling for 5 to 7 days, and others may have no peeling.
What kind of Post-Peel care is involved?
Temporary changes to your skin care routine will be suggested for one week following your Chemical Peel. It is especially important to avoid the sun and use vigorous sun protections. Regardless of what kind of peel is done, we always suggest that you don’t touch your skin, keep it clean, moisturize, be gentle and stay protected with SPF application.

How long does the procedure take and when can I expect to see results?
A Chemical Peel is generally booked for up to 1 hour, however the process itself may only take a few minutes. There is both pre and post prep required during the appointment. Depending on the treatment, new skin will begin to develop anywhere from one to two weeks post treatment.
